- Chrissie O'Neill Added August 31, 2017★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆I'm an ex shareholder with David Jones. Sold shares when DJ's went very sadly downwards and sold to a South African company. Such a disgrace frankly on too many levels. Not enough staff. Nobody to find. Disinterested staff. Other people from different departments being pulled from their station to attend in a different department to which they know nothing about the product. In the 1980s and 1990s this was the BEST and ONLY Australian department store I would shop and give me thousands of hard earned dollars to because of their tradition, quality and service. Well, that's all just a memory now. DJs is just another department store like MYER.
